Schematic illustration of the Euro pallet for sawing
Planning made easy: sawing the pallet is easy as pie with this sketch.
Step 1 5

Saw the Euro pallet

The Euro pallet is sawn in half using a cordless reciprocating saw
Saw the Euro pallet in half using the AdvancedRecip 18

First, mark the sawing spots on the Euro pallet (see sketch). Then saw through the individual slats of the Euro pallet using the AdvancedRecip 18. Then thoroughly sand both halves of the pallet using the PSM 18 Li.

Step 2 5

Spray the two halves of the pallet

One half of the pallet is sprayed white using a paint spray system
Be brave with colour – the EasySpray 18V-100 is perfect for this!

Now spray the two halves bit by bit from all sides using a paint spray system. Be it white, green or summery yellow, you decide what colour to paint your balcony table. This step is best done outdoors. We strongly advise wearing a respirator. If you are using your paint spray system indoors, don't forget to cover any furniture in the area beforehand so that the paint only goes where it should. Ensure you keep the proper distance when spraying.

Step 3 5

Screw the body together

The pallet halves are screwed to the body
Once dry, screw the pallets together.

Once dry, screw the two halves of the pallet together with the body of the balcony table. Use the AdvancedImpact 18 and the 4 x 50mm screws for this (see sketch). Clamp the pallet halves together beforehand.

Step 4 5

Saw out the table tops

The table tops are sawn out with a cordless jigsaw
The UniversalSaw 18V-100 makes it easy to saw out curves in the tops

In this step, you will saw out the rounded table tops of your balcony table. First, mark out a curve on one top. Simply measures 30cm from two sides and apply the cord where the two points meet. This works best with a small screw. At the other end of the cord, roll up a pen and, under tension, draw a quarter circle from edge to edge. Then saw out the curve using the UniversalSaw 18V-100. Now simply transfer this curve to the other two tops and saw these out too. Then sand down all cut edges and surfaces. You can do this in no time with the PSM 18 Li.

Tip
Wood oil makes your balcony table particularly durable and weatherproof!
Brushing the entire surface of the three sawn-out tops with wood oil makes your balcony table particularly durable and weatherproof. The oil protects the wood from fading due to UV radiation and water stains.
Step 5 5

Screw the balcony table together

The individual components of the balcony table are screwed together
Finally, the tops and the body are screwed together and the table is finished!

Then, place the tops on the individual shelves of the pallet body and use three brackets per top from below to form a table. You need eight screws (3 x 12mm) per bracket. The last step is to screw in the three castors on the underside (4x 4 x 50mm screws per castor). And it’s done! Now you can easily roll your new balcony table into place, relax and enjoy the rest of the summer.
