A battery pressure washer is a mobile pressure washer, meaning you can store it comfortably in your home, or easily pack it with you on your camping trips.

Low and medium pressure washers, also called low pressure cleaners, work much like high pressure washers do. Special pumps in the device pressurise the water in the tank so that it comes out as a concentrated jet. Unlike high pressure washers, which operate at a pressure of more than 100 bar, they function at more gentle pressures of 50 bar and below.

As the name suggests, the difference is in the amount of water pressure the devices operate with. A low pressure cleaner will use a water pressure of between 5 and 20 bar, while a medium pressure washer can reach up to 50 bar.

Whether on the road or in the garden, low pressure washers remove dirt quickly and effectively. They can utilise water directly from the rainwater tank, or from a nearby lake or stream.

Yes, as with other bikes, an electric bike can be cleaned easily and effectively using a low pressure washer. However, it is advisable to remove the electric bike’s battery and display before cleaning. Everything should be dried with a cloth before you reinsert both components.

Yes. Bosch mobile pressure washers can be operated using rainwater, or freshwater from a lake or stream. They can be filled with cool water from a wide variety of sources.

Generally, the jet of a low or medium pressure washer is strong enough to loosen a normal level of dirt. With more stubborn grime, such as grease residue on a grill, we recommend you use a cleaning brush alongside the pressure washer.

Top tip: For smaller surfaces, it is worth purchasing an electric cleaning brush to really help you get the grime out of those unreachable areas.
