VISIMOW18V lawn robots are ready to use out of the box. Quick Start technology ensures that in just three presses of a button and approximately 25 seconds, the robotic lawnmowers go from storage to mowing. There is no need for installation, wires, or a charging or docking station – simply place the robot grass cutter on the lawn, press start, and let it do its work.

The best robotic lawnmowers offer an incredible range of benefits. Relax and leave most of the lawn care up to them. These semi-automatic lawnmower robots function without the need for constant input and keep grass at the desired height.

Once the robot mower is set up, a manual lawnmower is only needed for occasional edge trimming and overgrown grass. This is because, as with all robot grass mowers, a VISIMOW18V will leave a grass edge of approximately 100-150mm that requires trimming with a grass trimmer or conventional walk-behind lawnmower. For best results, trim the edges before starting the robot mower so the SmartVision camera can clearly see the boundary. When the work is done, all that’s left to do is carry the lightweight mower back to storage.

The Bosch robotic lawnmower range includes two different robot mowers: the VISIMOW18V-100 and the VISIMOW18V-200. Which semi-automatic lawn robot best suits you will depend on a few factors, including the areas of grass, the lawn layout, and the given technical requirements.

The most important factor when buying a robot mower is the area of grass that the device can handle.

• For compact gardens up to 100m², the VISIMOW18V-100 is ideal.
• For medium-sized lawns up to 200m², we recommend the VISIMOW18V-200 with its wider 18cm cutting width.
• Both models feature AutoMow for complete, even coverage of the whole lawn and SpotMow for targeted mowing of small areas approximately 2m² – such as underneath garden furniture.

Both VISIMOW18V cordless robot mower models can easily handle slopes and inclines of up to 35%. For any areas steeper than this, simply exclude them from the mowing area with a physical barrier. If the barrier itself or the ground beyond it is sloped, make sure the barrier is at least 6cm tall. This ensures the mower’s bump sensor will detect it and stop safely.

Aside from size and slope, the layout of the lawn also factors into the purchase choice. The VISIMOW18V battery robot mower is completely wire-free, making it ideal for various garden types:

• Separate lawn areas: When working multiple areas, for example, the front garden, back garden, or side patches, simply carry the lightweight robotic lawnmower between zones. No cables or additional charging stations are required for each area.
• Multi-zonal lawns: Connected lawn areas with narrow passages (minimum 120cm wide, maximum 150cm long) can be navigated in a single mowing session.
• Passageways: The VISIMOW18V can navigate through passageways that are 120cm wide and no more than 150cm long.

The total size of each lawn area should not exceed the capacity of the model. VISIMOW18V robotic lawnmowers use SmartVision and ultrasonic sensors to navigate – simply place, press, and mow.
