Bosch DIY is a free app that puts the whole world of Bosch DIY and gardening at your fingertips. You register only once and benefit permanently from our current and future service offers, such as the free extension of the tool guarantee from one year to 3 years.
You can download the app for free from the Google Play Store for Android smartphones and from the Apple App Store for iPhones.
The app is available free of charge in the app stores.
The app extends the functionality of MyBosch. MyBosch is an integral part of the Bosch DIY app and you can view and edit information from MyBosch in the app.
If you already use our MyBosch service, you don't need an additional account and can log in with your existing MyBosch account.
After registering for the Bosch ID, you can log in to the Bosch DIY. If you already use our MyBosch service, you don't need a new account.
The Bosch ID is the key for all Bosch applications. This means that you only need a user name and password to log in to all Bosch.IO GmbH apps. In order to use the Bosch DIY app, you have to create a Bosch ID via the registration in the app to get started with the app.
The log-in or registration window has the function "Forgotten password".
In most cases, this is because the email ended up in the Junk Mail folder automatically. Please check there again. If the e-mail did not end up in the Junk Mail folder, please contact our customer service for assistance.
Log in to the app. In your personal settings under "Account" you can manage your account and delete it if necessary. But please keep in mind that if you have an ongoing guarantee extension, we cannot delete your account.
All DIY and measuring tools, as well as garden tools from Bosch DIY.
If the type plate is not recognized, for example, due to poor legibility or lighting conditions, you can enter the device data manually. To do so, switch to the manual registration process and follow the instructions in the app.
Bosch Power Tools grants the guarantee extension after the device registration in MyBosch and thus the Bosch DIY App by providing all device data within 4 weeks after the device purchase. If the registration does not work, then check whether all necessary device data (product number and serial number) are specified and the purchase date is no longer than 4 weeks from the registration date. Contact customer support for further assistance.
In this case, unfortunately the 3-year guarantee from Bosch Power Tools is not valid. You will still have the standard 2-year garantee for tools. All information can be found in our guarantee conditions. If you have any further questions, please contact customer service.
The camera scan function on the Bosch DIY app was developed for smartphones manufactured after 2014. Older models may have problems with the scan function. Other functions such as manual tool registration are not tied to any technical requirements.
The device and guarantee data are stored centrally at Bosch. This data serves as proof in the event of a guarantee claim. In addition, with your consent, your data will be used for information purposes such as the Bosch newsletter. You can find more information in the data protection information.
The data is stored on servers within the EU. Our server operator has contractually committed to complying with European data protection standards.
