Q: What should you consider before starting up your VISIMOW18V?

Before starting up the device for the first time or after a period of rest, it may be necessary to pre-mow your lawn with a conventional lawnmower. Additionally, any fallen branches or obstacles must be removed beforehand.

Q: What is the maximum grass height the VISIMOW18V robotic lawnmower can cut?

The VISIMOW18V can cut a maximum grass height of 80mm . This is because, like other robot mower, it mulches up to 20mm of clippings per cut, with a maximum cutting height of 60mm . If your lawn is taller than 80mm at the start of the season or after a long break, it must first be cut with a traditional lawnmower to bring it down to 80mm before the VISIMOW18V can take over .

VISIMOW18V uses SmartVision technology to recognise grassed and non-grassed surfaces. No perimeter wire, RTK antennas, or beacons are required, making set-up hassle and infrastructure-free.

VISIMOW18V utilises ultrasonic sensors to avoid obstacles within the lawn area.

3. SpotMow

SpotMow targets specific patches of uncut grass, such as areas under moved furniture or objects. It ensures complete mowing coverage for a pristine lawn.

Quick and easy setup

With an easy 3-button-press, VISIMOW18V-100 and VISIMOW18V-200 start mowing within seconds.

Check borders

Ensure the lawn borders can be recognised. Suitable borders include paving slabs, concrete, block paving, vertical borders and soil.

Insert battery

Open the battery cover, slide in the battery until it clicks, then close the battery cover until it clicks.

Start VISIMOW18V

Press ON | START for 1 second. When the LEDs stop flashing, press AUTO MOW for 1 second, then press ON | START to commence mowing.

Before you start

Ensure you have removed any obstacles from the lawn prior to starting VISIMOW18V. It might be necessary to pre-mow the lawn with a conventional lawn mower if the grass is too long. VISIMOW18V must be able to clearly identify green grass and the lawn boundary. Horizontal boundaries must have a differentiation of >35 cm, while vertical borders need a height differentiation of >15 cm.

How do you clean and maintain the VISIMOW18V?

A robotic lawnmower like a VISIMOW18V doesn’t require a lot of care and maintenance. Here is how to keep it clean:

1. 1. 1. Remove any debris and grass that has accumulated
    2. Clean the cutting deck with a hose and stiff brush while wearing gloves and taking care around the blades
    3. Wipe the exterior with a cloth.
    4. Gently wipe the SmartVision camera with a microfibre cloth on a regular basis to keep it clean.

If the grass appears frayed after mowing, it's likely that the robot mower’s blades need replacing. We recommend replacing blades and blade screws together, so they remain in similar condition. Although VISIMOW18V cordless robot mowers are weather-resistant, avoid leaving your mower out in prolonged rainfall or hail.

What should you consider before starting up your VISIMOW18V?

Can the VISIMOW18V operate at night?

No, the VISIMOW18V robot mower cannot operate at night. Its SmartVision WDR camera requires daylight to operate. Upon dusk, the VISIMOW18V will automatically stop working in the lawn. It will then enter a standby mode, illuminating an error indicator, and will proceed to fully shut down approximately 25 minutes later. This design ensures that the robot grass cutter operates only under optimal visibility conditions.
