Safety Instructions for Air Pumps
- When using the air pump, take care not to exceed the permitted pressure of the product to be inflated. The product may burst or rupture and you may injure yourself.
The hose and metal parts of the adapters can overheat when working for long periods. Schedule breaks when working for long periods and leave the parts to cool down if necessary. |
- Do not leave the air pump unsupervised.
- Use a calibrated measuring tool to check the pressure of your product after inflating it. An incorrect pressure may lead to dangerous situations, e.g. your car handling differently.
- Do not allow children to use the air pump. Do not direct the air hose or air flow at people's or animals' mouths, ears or eyes and do not blow any dust or other particles at people or animals. This can lead to injury.
- Stop using the air pump if the indicator or other parts are defective. The permitted pressure of the product to be inflated could be exceeded and this may lead to dangerous situations.
- Do not open the battery. There is a risk of short-circuiting.
- In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapours may be emitted. The battery can set alight or explode. Ensure the area is well ventilated and seek medical attention should you experience any adverse effects. The vapours may irritate the respiratory system.
- The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally. An internal short circuit may occur, causing the battery to burn, smoke, explode or overheat.
- Only use the battery with products from the manufacturer. This is the only way in which you can protect the battery against dangerous overload.
Protect the battery against heat, e.g. against continuous intense sunlight, fire, dirt, water and moisture. There is a risk of explosion and short-circuiting. |
