Practical Advice
- 19 mm staples cannot be used with this power tool. Therefore you should not use the power tool to attach ceiling panels with claws for fastening wooden profiles or joints.
Avoid pulling the trigger when the magazine is empty to minimise wear on the firing pin.
When work is complete, set the impact force on the thumbwheel for impact force preselection (4) to relieve strain on the tension spring.
Carefully set the tacker head (1) down on the material. Soft workpieces (e.g. pine wood) could be damaged if you press down too hard.
The power tool is designed for short-term use with a maximum operation time of 10 minutes of constant use. It heats up in continuous operation. Performance reduces as the temperature increases.
Switch the power tool off after a maximum of 10 minutes operating time and allow it to cool down.
Removing Jammed Staples
- Remove the battery from the power tool before carrying out any work on the power tool.
- Turn the power tool around.
- Press the magazine release (8) and pull the magazine (9) out of the back of the tool at the same time.
- Remove the jammed staple. Use a pair of pliers for this, if required.
- Slide the magazine (9) back in until it clicks into place.
- Fill the magazine in good time. A staple strip that is too short may be the cause of jammed staples.
