Looking to update your Christmas decorations? Why not try this snowflake upcycling project that your little ones can get involved with. It's quick and easy requiring only a few tools and materials.

You need

Pull apart the wooden pegs

First remove the metal spring inside the wooden pegs

You need: 24 wooden pegs

To make your snowflake out of wooden pegs, first you need to remove the metal spring from the pegs. Simply remove the metal springs by hand.

Now time to glue

Glue is applied to the back of a wooden washcloth using a hot glue gun.

You need: Bosch limpennor och limpistoler, Plastic glue sticks

Next glue the backs of the separated wooden pegs together with a hot glue gun. Make sure to press firmly to ensure they stay in place.

Creating the snowflake

Glue is applied to the lower part of the wooden clamps to join them together.

You are nearly finished. Now glue the pairs together at the pointed end using a hot glue gun. Make sure you press firmly to ensure they stick together. Keep doing this until you form a circle.

Now your snowflake is complete! To hang them up use a wire or a piece of string, or simply leave the snowflakes on a table as an eye catching center piece.
