The Bosch electric cleaning brush: scour with power

Need an electric scrub brush for floors? How about an electric scrubber for cleaning grout? Or perhaps you just want an electric cleaning brush for bathroom use in general? Our household cleaning brushes work well on any surface!

Electric cleaning brushes, often called electric scrubbers or tile cleaners, are equipped with a motor that spins the brush head with a single button press. Depending on the model, they are powered either by a plug-in cord or using a rechargeable battery. Cleaning brushes with rechargeable batteries have the advantage of flexibility - they can be easily used anywhere in the home or garden.

There are two basic types of electric cleaning brush: those that have fully rotating brushes, and those with oscillating brushes. With several hundred revolutions per minute, rotating cleaning brushes remove even the most stubborn dirt. Oscillating brushes, on the other hand, make use of sound waves to clean.

Battery-powered cleaning brushes can be used everywhere. They are most commonly used in bathrooms and kitchens, for example on tiles and grout (for more information, see the guide on cleaning grout lines). With the right attachments, battery brush cleaners can quickly and effortlessly remove grime from ovens, pots, pans, glass shower doors, garden furniture, kitchen tops, and leather surfaces.

Electric cleaning brushes can also clean areas that are difficult to reach, such as joints, corners, and edges. They are therefore the ideal complement to other cleaning devices from the Bosch Home & Garden Range, like the low/medium pressure cleaners or the Bosch window vacuums.

That depends on what you want to clean. Do you just want to use the electric scrubber to clean indoors, or will you also use it outdoors? Do you want to clean cast iron and glass? Or do you need the electric scrubber for tiles? You'll find all the necessary accessories for many different applications in the Bosch range, such as non-scratch pads and fine brush attachments.

If you want to clean leather, we’d recommend the melamine eraser pad, which can be attached to the brush with Velcro. First, the leather surface should be thoroughly vacuumed to remove dust and loose dirt. Next, apply a leather cleaner and scrub well with the electric cleaning brush. Lastly, simply wipe off the leather cleaner with a dry microfiber cloth.

An electric cleaning brush scrubber not only makes the cleaning process easier, it also speeds it up enormously. Here are some of the highlights of how a Bosch battery brush can benefit you:

Brush heads and other attachments should be cleaned after each use. In most cases, you just need to rinse the attachments under running water. If they are fairly dirty, you can also put them in the dishwasher, up to a maximum temperature of 50°C.

The attachments are dishwasher-safe up to 50°C and can therefore be reused. How often they should be replaced depends on how often they are used. In general, we recommend you replace the attachments when they are no longer achieving the desired cleaning results.
