How often should I oil my chain?

Before each use and then approximately every 40 cuts of 50mm diameter wood.

Where should I add oil to the chain?

Oil should be applied to the lubrication hole at the end of the chain bar and along the chain between the chain bar and chain.

What happens if I do not regularly oil my chain?

The chain can become hot if not lubricated regularly. This can cause the chain to tighten and stall.
If you encounter this problem, remove the chain and chain bar and allow the device to cool.

How do I find the right chain tension?

The correct chain tension for this 15cm saw chain is 2-3mm. Please refer to the user manual for tensioning steps. The chain tension aid found within the box, will help to guide you to the recommended tension.

How do I safely store/transport the tool?

When storing or transporting the tool, attach the chain cover to protect the saw chain.

How do I know if my chain is blunt?

If the sawdust is very fine then it is likely the chain is blunt. If the chain needs sharpening, it should be done by a trained professional. In case a new chain is needed, Chain 15cm: F.016.800.624.

How do I clean my tool?

Clean the chain and chain bar before storing the product for an extended period of time to prevent the parts from seizing. Clean the moulded plastic housing of the pruner saw using a soft brush and clean cloth. Do not use water, solvents or polishes. Remove all debris, especially from the motor cooling vents.
